Curling Season Paused

Hi Riverdale,

The club has made the decision to pause the curling season effective immediately in light of the rapidly changing COVID-19 situation. That means all games this Sunday will be postponed to the New Year.

While disappointing, this is ultimately the appropriate action as we grapple with a new and virulent wave of COVID. This is a very tough situation and if you need help managing, there are mental health resources available, or reach out to your family and friends: https://www.ontario.ca/page/find-mental-health-support

UPDATE: Currently, there is no return date scheduled, until provincial government regulations are updated and the club can reopen. The website will be updated and member emails will be sent once we have more information.

In the meantime, please book your third dose and continue to follow public health guidance including wearing a high-quality mask.Β https://covid-19.ontario.ca/covid-19-vaccines-ontario

If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out. We will have more information on making up this weekend’s game in January.
We wish you a safe holiday and a healthy 2022, we will see you in the New Year.
